Mehić

Head of the Department of Telecommunications at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Sarajevo

Miralem Mehić holds a PhD from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, VSB-Technical University in Ostrava (Czech Republic). He also studied at the AGH University of Science and Technology, Krakow, Poland, Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt, Austria and at the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT) in the Department of Digital Security Business Units - Optical Quantum Technology, Vienna and Klagenfurt, Austria. His research interests are focused on security and routing, in particular: security services, cryptography, security breach detection, routing protocols, quality of service, steganography and quantum cryptography. Miralem is an assistant professor at the University of Sarajevo and Head of the Department of Telecommunications. He is the leader of the EU Horizon 2020 OPENQKD project for Bosnia and Herzegovina (www.openqkd.eu), and a participant in several EU COST and Erasmus + projects.
