Hartmut Wimmer founded his own engineering office in 1994 and has been successful in the field of architecture. As he encountered many problems while planning business trips, he decided to find an option by collecting all the important information and data that would facilitate travel and tourism - this also resulted in the launch of Outdooractive in 2008.

From that moment on, Hartmouth sought to create the world’s largest platform by connecting communities, users of travel services with state-level technologies.

Hartmouth is a big enthusiast who also wants to connect people who would share travel experiences including the challenges they face.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Munich and is fully committed to the Otdooractive platform striving to develop, grow, and make it more accessible and better to users around the world.
